However, it was a simple explanation and dispelled her concerns. In fact, this question can be answered from two aspects:

Fast filling does not hurt the phone battery?

Strictly speaking, it is sure to hurt the battery, because as long as it is charged, it will hurt if it is fast or slow, but the damage of the fast charge is slightly larger, which can be ignored.

This is like eating faster than eating slowly and healthier, but as long as you chew fast, protective measures are in place, and eating faster will be fine.

The performance of this "protective measure" on fast charging is the fast charge agreement:

In the early stage of explosive charging, the efficiency is maximized, and after 90% of the power, it enters trickle charging, and the charger works with the chip in the device to control the current entering the battery.

It is not difficult to understand that we can regard the battery as a water polo. When the water polo is small, we can add water quickly and freely. However, when the water reaches a certain level and cannot continue to add water quickly (otherwise it will explode), it will be reduced. The small amount of water, properly controlled, can be filled with the water polo without exploding.

This kind of agreement requires the charger and the mobile phone to work together. In this case, the control voltage and current, the fast charge damage to the mobile phone battery is almost negligible, and there is no problem in safety.

Does fast charge have any harm to ordinary mobile phones?

The current mobile phone batteries are mainly lithium-ion batteries. The charging method of lithium batteries is limited voltage constant current, and the whole process is controlled by the IC chip.

Each device will have a series of monitoring mechanisms before leaving the factory. There will be a standard for the current and voltage tolerance. As long as it does not exceed this standard, it will not have much impact.

I won't talk about the principle of fast charging here. Anyway, I am making a fuss about voltage and current. In short, there are many people in the industry who have done experiments, and the conclusion is that "the fast charge charger will not damage the battery when charging the ordinary mobile phone."

Because the fast charge charger will recognize whether the mobile phone supports fast charge, if it is an ordinary mobile phone, it will charge with the appropriate current and voltage; the same reason, if the mobile phone supports fast charge, the charger does not support, it is also processed in the normal mode.

Of course, due to the high current output of the fast charge charger, even the normal mode when charging the ordinary mobile phone will be faster than the conventional charger, but the charging efficiency cannot achieve the effect of adapting the fast charging technology.

Therefore, you can safely charge the iPhone6 ​​with the charger of Xiaomi Note2. The battery is no problem, but the Apple phone does not support Xiaomi's protocol (Qualcomm QC3.0), and the efficiency will not be so fast.
